Punggol Nasi Lemak

After our return from Batam, dad brought us out for dinner with granduncle & auntie. Its been a long time since i had my favourite Punggol Nasi Lemak!

The branch at Tanjong Katong still remains as a hit with the crowd, enjoying brisk business with the constant queue. I guess they appeal to many with their considerable wide range of excellently done dishes.

I went for my usual;

ladysfinger, sotong balls, fried wantons & otah

Still the same good grains of mildly-flavoured rice, as palatable as it can be. All my dishes were appetising, but the ladysfinger deserved some special mention- tastily fried with the perfect timing. Homemade sotong balls and fried wantons were yummy as well; wantons lusciously filled with prawns, mixed vegetable and fish paste but a pity they didn't come hot. Otah on the moist side.

Dad's...

Just like mine, with additonal ikan billis & peanuts.

Granduncle's..

Loaded with longbeans, otah, achar, chicken wing, plus a prawn fritter and fried wanton (added in by mummy)

Mum's...

Chicken wing, fishcake, ladysfinger and her favourite kunning fish.

Sis'...

With fried egg, frenchbeans and sotong balls.

Grandauntie's? She couldn't resist starting off immediately, heh.

Delicious plates of lemak wonders!
