Korean Cuisine

-Kopitiam @ Vivo City B2-39

This new foodcourt is nicely done up, with a wide range of both local and non-local food to choose from. The place is bright and clean, with pretty tables and chairs to enhance your dining experiences there. Crowded, but there were sufficient seats.

Dolsot Bibimbap ($6, with basic appetizers and soup)

Rather dry looking but had long lasting heat that resulted in thin crisps of rice scraps.

BBQ Squid Set ($6, with basic appetizers and soup)

It was tasty with just enough spicyness. The onions, carrots and beansprouts were soft and well-soaked in the chilli base. The sotong was slightly overcooked thus lacking the succulent factor.

The sight of it was definitely appealing and it also came hot & sizzling. However, the kimchi was poorly done and the anchovies was neither crunchy nor tasty enough.

Overall: It was good enough for foodcourt korean fare but there are certainly better stalls around. Still, its value for money & worth a try if you happen to eat there.

Rating: 3.5 /5 ( For Korean Foodcourt Fare)
