Mee Kia Noodle Boy
- Eastlink Foodcourt @ Tampines Interchange

I have been wanting to try this featured Bah Chor Mee on Where the Queue Starts at Woodlands, and happen to come across this branch here. Business was not too good compared to the other stalls around thus no queueing was required.

Minced Meat Mee Kia ($3)

I was already disappointed with the ingredients as the featured branch at Woodlands had fried wantons and fried meatballs.

Noodles: Soft, slightly clumpy not offering much springyness
Sauce base: lacking in taste, with just a mild tinge of vinegar and a completely boring chilli
Meatballs: Surprisingly soft and smooth, but a little too bland. It also seemed to be handmade as it was of irregular shape.
Others: Fully bursting with a rich gravy, the mushrooms were sweet and juicy. The porkslices were also tender and lean. The soup that came with it was pleasant tasting, not too choking with the pork liver taste.

Overall: Its more for those who are concerned about their sodium levels, as most of it appeared too bland for me.

Rating: 3 /5 (For Bah Chor Mee)
Taste- 2.5 /5
Presentation- 2.75 /5
Value- 3.75/5
