Gelare has always been my favourite place to be whenever i crave for waffles. The waffles here are all made on-the-spot and will never disappoint. Mention 'gelare' and most people will think of a warm waffle with their popular home-made icecreams.

Large Waffle with Vanilla Chocolate Chip icecream
($6 for waffle, $2.50 for icecream and $0.80 for caramel sauce)

My usual order is the large waffle, because the small one is really insufficient for me. The waffles here are served warm, since they are all made-to-order. Once again, the warm+cold combi is something really satisfying. A waffle- lightly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, topped with smooth vanilla icecream with chunky choc chips; then drizzled with caramel sauce. What more can i say?

New York Cheesecake ($4.90)

I couldn't help but to get this as well. Okay, and i was glad that i did. The cheesecake was not too dense nor rich, and furthermore, melt-in-the-mouth! I liked the base as well, it was a little crumbly but smooths out in your mouth. This is one of the better cheesecakes i've tasted.

Overall: If you do like their waffles but you are on a budget,go on tuesdays because the waffles are at half-price for the whole day! But if you really love them, just like me, anyday can be waffle day (:
