Sushi Tei
innovation stands out
-Raffles City Shopping Centre #03-13/14

This is currently one of my favourite Japanese restaurants because i simply love their innovation. Although the food is rather pricely, it was worth paying for the quality. In terms of creativity, presentation and ambience, they have outshone many others..

Ikura Shoyuzuke ($6)
"salmon roe"

Little salmon eggs that splurts when you bite in. haha its quite fun eating it but its rather expensive though.

Asparagus Salmon Mentaiyaki ($9)
"asparagus with salmon and cod roe"

An asparagus stick wrapped round with salmon, topped with cod roe in mayo and then grilled.

Hotate Misomayo ($8)
"grilled scallop with mayo & mayonnaise-sauce"

Fresh juicy scallops topped with the savoury mayo sauce and then grilled.

The scallops underneath remained tender and smooth.

Unagi Yoridori ($16)
"(eel assorted) premium eel, eel, chopped eel, eel & cucumber roll, eel & avocado handroll"

I ordered this because i was craving for unagi really badly. An unagi platter of 10 pieces -includes Kizami Unagi(chopped eel sushi), Jo Unagi(premium eel sushi), Unagi sushi, Unakyu Maki(eel & cucumber roll), and an Unagi Temaki(eel & avocado handroll). Unagi in every bite; perfect for a satisfying eel fix! (:

Overall: There's always something new to try here. They have a range of Sushi Specialties with very interesting incorporation of ingredients. But be prepared to pay more for those.
