Here's another one of Daniel Tay's creations. (fyi, he is the founder of Bakerzin) This is where dad frequents during his lunchtime , and so he brought me here to try their food as well.

It is situated in an open area of parkway parade. considered pretty empty for dinner time.

the table setting.
Both of us had an All-day Set Meal at $19.80++ each. 4 main courses to choose from; comes with a soup-of-the-day, freeflow of ciabatta bread and a scoop of homemade icecream for dessert.
Ciabatta Bread

Although they didnt mention anything, daddy as a regular customer knew it was self-service. He took a long time slicing these ciabatta off the loaf and toasting them. Accompanied with butter and an olive oil dip.
Baked Potato Soup

The bowl was amusing, specially designed to slant sideways. Tiny chunks of potato in thick creamy soup. A nice dip for the ciabatta bread.
Medallion of Salmon with Soy-honey and Wasabi

Dad strongly recommended me to have this.

Two pieces of salmon fillet, coiled up and pan-fried to perfection. Surprisingly, it went really well with the dashes of sensational wasabi sauce. The measly portion was my only grouse, but then again, i would rather go for quality than quantity.
Pan-fried Seabass 'Arrabiatta' with Braised Fennel

He decided to try this as his main course. Tender seabass in a mildly spicy tomato base - a lighter and heartier choice.
Single Scoop Home-made Ice Cream

Vanilla for him, pistachio for me (: Firm, well-frozen texture but the taste was one of the weakest i've tried.
Overall: well, Daniel Tay's standard cant go too far off. The emphasis on presentation, ambience and all is just so typical of his style. i would want to try their pastas and other desserts as well.
