KOH Japanese Cuisine
sets without the tax

Ask me which foodcourt has got good japanese food and i'll tell you Toapayoh Central's Koufu. I'm always eating from here whenever i meet my mum for dinner after her work. Plenty of professionally-prepared choices at restaurant standards but without all those additional taxes.(theres even a chef at the bar slicing the sashimi fresh in front of you!) it's the presentation and value that outshines.

Grilled Saba Set ($6.90)

Comes complete with rice, miso soup, appetiser tofu and salad bowl.

Quite a large piece of freshly grilled saba fish with a crisp skin layer. The fish inside was rather soft and moist, showing how well-grilled it was.

Black Pepper Hotplate Saba Set ($6.90)

Includes rice, miso soup, salad bowl and hot green tea.

Served sizzling in the hotplate, the saba was made to taste fancier with the addition of black pepper gravy.

Overall: The food was well worth its value. Quite unbelivable that such standards can be found in a humble foodcourt corner. There's still a whole range of sets for me to try, so i will definitely be back (:
