A casual dinner with my mum & sis after picking mum from her workplace. We have been patronising Ocean for their signature claypot curry fishhead since many many years back. They do sell other good cooked dishes to go with rice as well.

My rice;

my picks are the Oyster Sotong, Otah and baby xiaobaicai. Otah was steamed super moist with chilli juices flowing out; nice chunky fish meat but the spice tasted weird.


The sotong in oyster sauce is my all-time-favourite, but this time it was too hard and dry. More oyster gravy, please!

Overall: The two plates of rice totalled up to $7.50, which was quite reasonable as mine included a whole squid. We didnt order the Fish Head Curry this time round because they were quite full already. Instead, we asked for a bowl of curry to go with our rice.
