Andersen's of Denmark Ice-cream Cafe
more pricey creations

After dinner with xinya at Marina Square, we walked passed Andersen's of Denmark. The range of icecreams sure looked tempting!

And then we realised that there was actually a cafe behind it so we went in for desserts.

New York Cheesecake ($5.20)

Shared a cheesecake instead of going for their specialty desserts or icecream (came with little berries). Sadly, it was very disappointing with a bad texture, mediocre cheese taste and didnt seem fresh at all. The chocolate biscuit base was also too soft and mushy.

Hot Chocolate ($5.50)

xin had a hot chocolate drink as well. Beautifully layered and came with a side portion of chocolate drops. Looks good.

Overall: Other than the few specially designed eat-in desserts, nothing else here was worth coming for. Prices are chalked up; regular sundae for takeaway costs only $7 but it is priced at $9.80 on the menu (excluding taxes) while a single scoop of icecream for dine-in is a whopping $5.50! To make things worse, the service was rather sucky- so go for take-outs instead.
