morning buffet boost


Dad and I claimed the complimentary breakfast for 2 during our family's recent weekend stay at Hotel Intercontinental. It was a memorably satisfying breakfast for me since i have been craving for a proper hotel buffet breakfast.

My helpings;

everything was just too tempting to resist!

Out of all the yummy food i had, i exceptionally enjoyed 3 notably good ones..
Waffle

These were freshly-made but placed aside to cool before serving. It was entirely soft and yummy, but would have been better if it came hot.

Pancake

Only prepared upon request, the pancakes are served piping hot. The lovely batter tasted just like those i had in America! Double bliss with the blueberry puree (:

Omelette

Pan-fried on the spot with my choice of fillings- mushrooms, chopped capsicums & tomatoes. Well-cooked but just a tad too oily.

Their slices of honey baked ham were of superb quality as well.

Overall: Variety is the key here. Simply one of the best breakfast i've had in ages, enough said.
