Ice³ Cafe
the perfect chill-out spot
I'm proud to say that i've found my next favourite dessert place!

Nestled in the heart of Serangoon Gardens, Ice³ Cafe is a wonderful hideout to get a sugar fix. The interior oozes style with the black-red-blue outlook and creates a sense of mystery within. Walk right in to the end and 3 sets of comfy sofa seatings come to view- and that is what i need (:
This discovery was made during my secondary school days and i have been here a couple of times. Would usually get an item or two to share, and match it with a scoop of their extensive range of hearty homemade icecream.
Caramel Brownie ($7.90)
"icecream drizzled with caramel sauce, garnished with chopped nuts on a warm chocolate fudge brownie"

The brownie was very soft and moist with a deep chocolate taste. Chocolate and sugar overkill i feel, and the caramel sauce didn't exactly match. My pick of Very Cheesy Strawberry Icecream may not be boasting of much cheese taste, but it was sure smooth and sufficiently creamy.

Catering mainly to students customers from schools around the area, they recently introduced a Student's Special of a waffle with icecream and drink at just $6++. Took up the offer on a separate visit..
Waffle with Very Cheesy Strawberry Ice Cream

Oh man, i seriously love their waffles! Undoubtedly proven to be the star dessert here, its probably one of the best waffle you can find around. Crisp and decandent, bearing a soft well-fluffed interior with a spongy texture. A very excellent version indeed.
The batter may be lacking in taste, but the generous drench of thick butterscotch sauce is enough to make up for it. An accompanying dollop of homemade icecream completes the ultimate warm and cold contrasting sensation. Once again, Very Cheesy Strawberry went well for me. Its a MUST-TRY~

Iced Honey Green Tea

the drink that came with the set.
Overall: The comfortable and relaxing ambience here makes it one of my favourite places to chill out. I simply love tucking into their sofa seats and taking rich bites of their desserts- especially the waffles (:
