New Flavours @ Beard Papa
Walked pass Beard Papa at Bugis Junction and realised they recently introduced a couple of new variations to their signature cream puffs- more types of puffs and fillings!
Original Puff with Strawberry Custard ($2.30)
I was immediately drawn in by the strawberry-flavoured cream version as it was only available for a limited period of time. Observed as the person grabbed a puff from the basket, pumped in the cream then meticulously sprinkled some pink icing powder on top; and its ready to be served!
What dissapointed me was the puff- it was supposed to be piping hot. But the filling sure saved it- very light chilled cream with burst of fresh strawberry flavour. I liked the slight sourness it gave.
