Suki Sakura
value-for-money international buffet

Finally a buffet session with Jessica (my buffet kaki) that i was longing for; this time at Marine Parade's Sakura. We used to visit the Toa Payoh and Downtown East outlets together during our secondary school days whenever we had the craving to gorge, lol.

It was a friday night and so each of us had to pay $26 nett.

Part of the spread;

The plenty of food we had;

Some of these orders are made to order and comes hot. Clips (with table numbers) are provided for us to clip them onto the specific food labels at the counter and we just wait to be served- its that simple and organised. I particularly liked the dimsum, dory fish and chicken satay.

My favourite part was of course the desserts!

There were more varieties of desserts but we were too full to try all of them. But i seriously love their marble cheesecake- firm yet light cheese with a subtle hint of chocolate flavour, yummy!

Overall: Sakura is one affordable choice for students like us whenever a buffet craving strikes. A decent range of food is offered and most are generally satisfying. Thumbs up for their cheesecakes!

This outlet is actually rather small and the buffet counters were weirdly located at the side, away from the tables while the sushi are layed on the conveyor belts. Sashimi wasn't as fresh as the other outlets and their icecream variety was limited.
