Back at Ichiban Boshi
Once again our family of four returned to continue accumulating our loyalty stamps. One good thing about eating here is the variety of lighter dishes which all of us can order individually based on pur preference. We usually start our meal off with a couple of side orders to share and then go on to having our self-ordered choices.

Tako Wasabi ($5.30)

Soft-shell Crab Tempura ($5.30)

Agedashi Tofu ($4.80)

Sashimi Salad ($8.80)
The key to sashimi is obviously freshness, and this didnt disappoint one bit. Every slice of raw item here is extremely fresh, especially the squid! I've never had such fresh squid which breaks along bitten into. A squeeze of lemon juice and a bed of fresh vegetables makes this salad a perfect dish to start with.

Mini Cha Soba ($1.90)
A hearty portion of chilled soba noodles served with sauce in a small bowl. Their noodles here are really well-cooked, offering a degree aldenteness in them. Thumbs up!

Hiyayakko ($1.90)
A refreshing choice of chilled tofu with ginger, spring onion, roe in a shoyu sauce.

Lobster Salad Gunkan ($1.90)

Nama Hotate Avocado Gunkan ($1.90)

Salmon Nigiri ($1.90)

California Handroll ($1.90)

Half Udon ($4.80)

Edamame ($1.90)

Atsuage ($2.20) & Shitake ($2.20)

Salmon Shio ($9.80)
Dad's choices are obviously more protein-based, needless to say eversince he started his anti-carbs diet. A stick each of grilled beancurd and shitake mushrooms, together with a plain grilled salmon is pretty much sufficient for him.
And this basically sums up another dinner for us, not forgetting the 3 more stamps and a new loyalty card to continue with..

Agedashi Tofu is a staple starter that we never fail to order in japanese restaurants. The ones here are pretty good with a even batter and delectable sauce. Also had a plate of fresh octopus and horseradish bits smothered in a sticky wasabi coating, which was quite appetising. The soft-shell crab was a free dish we claimed with out loyalty stamping card.
Now for my orders...

My sister, as usual, selected her meal off their sushi menu. They offer a large range of sushis with some special innovative varieties exclusive to them but she never fail to pick her boring few. As for Mum, a bowl of half-portion udon soup as well as her favourite beans off the conveyor belt made up her dinner.
