Delifrance Cafe
the hearty european bistro

A simple lunch of their Le Classique Meal with soup & coffee/tea/ice lemon tea at $9++. Choose from 6 types of available fillings to go with your preferred type of bread (croissant, baguette, ciabatta or light rye).

Cream of Chicken with Garlic Bread

Thick, lukewarm chicken soup containing some small chicken pieces served in a shallow bowl- it somehow tasted like Campbell's. The garlic bread was a just a pathetic thin piece of baguette with tasteless garlic spread.

Turkey Ham & Brie Melo'D Baguette

I requested to have it without the Brie cheese because it looked pretty inappetising from the fridge. Same good baguette i expected; hardcrusted the way i like it and paired with a moist and fluffy interior. The bad thing had to be the fatty ham slices.

Seafood D'sire Croissant

An extremely flat croissant bread came with 2 scoops of mayo-mixed filling. Tried a little but the shredded crabmeat and tuna were too fishy for me.

For drinks we had Ice Lemon Tea & Hot Tea.

Overall: Another food chian with obvious inconsistency among the different outlets. I'm quite surprised how they managed to survive for so long actually; the food is on the expensive side and quality is not always guranteed. Furthermore, there are now plenty of better sandwich chains sprouting out.
