Don Noodle Bistro
noodie cuisine galore

Another one of our family's usual eating place in the past. They serve various noodles of the different cusines all under-one-roof ; japanese, korean, thai.. Many other sides and rice dishes are available as well at reasonable prices.

Age Dashi Tofu ($4)
"deep fried beancurd with sauce topped with seaweed, fish flakes and spring onions"

Above average batter but nothing to rave about.

Vegetarian Aka Miso Soba ($8.50)

My choice was a very special miso soup with a rich taste; probably infused with wine. The chasoba noodles were cooked a tad too soft but came with lots of beansprouts, onions, carrot shreds and mushrooms.

Shitake Tempura Soba ($9)
"soba in soup with deep fried fresh mushroom in crispy batter"

Dad's simple order of soba in soup with shitake mushrooms tempura.

Salmon Teriyaki Ramen ($9.80)
"ramen in soup with salmon teriyaki"

Mum commented that the soup tasted too sweet with the teriyaki sauce.

Overall: Efficient service and a good variety. I'm sure there's at least one kind of noodles here to suit everyone but the problem? the lack of specialisation and the tough decision-making.
