Grabbed a bite at Raffles City Marketplace with Sarah before going for our learning journey at the Parliament House. Was instantly drawn into Mix as i walked pass due to its general colourful and cheery outlook. The wrapps here all look so and tempting but something else caught my eye instead..


Their apple pretzel! I remember having it once at the airport before departing for Korea and i loved it.


Apple Cinnamon Power Pretzel ($2.60)

Got them to heat it up for me so it came slightly warm and soft. This is unlike the common yeast-raised pretzels around but instead more flaky and pastry-like. I liked its tough yet chewy texture, together with that subtle tinge of cinnamon and apple flavour. Although a tad too mild, the pretzel was still fragrant and good!



Banana Chocolate Muffin ($2.80)

Sarah was so attracted to the chocolate drizzling once she saw it on the display and immediately made her choice for this. She commented that the centre was a little dry and underheated.


Most food items here at Mix are freshly-made with healthier methods. Health-conscious consumers can feel more assured with all the low fat and hi-fibre labels, and even a calorie count!
