TCC Cheesecake Session

Huiling and i both agreed that TCC was a suitable place to chill out for a peaceful dessert session. All it took us was a mere 10 minute train ride to arrive at the Atrium @ Orchard outlet.



I've always been impressed with their presentation and layout- every dish or drink served here is simply like an art piece made with effort.


American Cheesecake ($4.50)

I remembered liking this during my previous visit but this slice i had was a tad less supreme. The cheese was too fragile with an unevenly airy texture. A monotonous sweetness with a mild tinge of sourness can get a little too stale and unexciting. The layer of spongy cake was a good change from the usual crushed biscuit base.



Oreo Cheesecake ($4.50)

Huiling's choice was an Oreo Cheesecake. Thick oreo base with oreo bits blended in but the cheese seemed very airy and roughly textured.


Service here was totally dissatisfying. The unobservant waitresses missed us plenty of times despite the measly number of customers present. Their poor attitudes really tarnished my impression of TCC.

I would certainly return to TCC, but just not this outlet.
