Tea-time Special @ Secret Recipe


Popped by VivoCity's outlet, hoping to indulge in a yummy slice of their award-winner cheesecake. Was just in time for their Tea-time special Cake Set; a choice of cake + drink at $5.90++

Marble Cheesecake

One utterly disappointing slice of cake. This is just so different from the ones at the Plaza Singapura outlet. Was anticipating that soft cheesy wet texture but i had a hard and dry one instead. The base and the crust also failed to meet my expectations.


Classic Cheesecake

Fortunately, this didn't fare too badly. Gave quite a nice blend of contrasting textures; smooth creamy mascarpone, baked cheese and a spongy chocolate cake base. The chocolate and cheese went pretty well.


Drinks were Jasmine Tea and Ice Lemon Tea;


Their service beats the PS branch hands down, but i doubt this can affect my decision about not returning here again. Even if it does, ordering a Marble Cheesecake here would be a no-no for me.
