Wraps at Long John Silvers

A day before, Mum made a casual remark that she haven't had LJS for a long time. Seeing that they introduced new wraps to their menu, i suggested coming here for dinner after her work. The branch we visited, at Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre was relatively empty even at dinner time.

Each of us ordered a wrap out of their 3 choices (fish/chicken/grilled chicken); mum had a fish while i went for a grilled chicken. A complete set with a drink is available at just $3.90.

Grilled Chicken Wrap

A chicken burger patty, grilled moist and then sandwiched in a soft tortilla wrap. It was much better than i had expected, very juicy with little fats as well as a tasty charred crust. Came with fresh shredded lettuce and tomato cubes.

Fish Wrap
Mum enjoyed hers with LJS's signature fish with tartar sauce, but i still preferred mine.

For our drinks, we had a Iced Lemon Tea and a Pure Ceylon Tea. I guess this should be adequate to satisfy mum's craving for fastfood- its really worth a try!
