Le Viet Cafe & Restaurant
Mum's choice for dinner- a revisit for her favourite vietnamese pho noodles.

Condiments for Pho

Seafood Pho Noodles ($8.50)
A unison order of noodles topped with fresh seafood for dad, sis and me! The soup, containing prawns, squids, fish, tomatoes and pineapples, tasted wonderfully tangy with a slight sourish flavour.

I liked their pho noodles; soft smooth flat strands that glides gently down the throat. With the condiments added, you get extra flavour to it.

Chicken Pho Noodles ($6.50)
Mum's choice with chicken chunks came in a clearly less tasty soup.

Sugar Cane Prawns ($8)
This favourite side order of mine is a very special dish of prawn paste wrapped around sugarcane sticks. Paste today was a tad too salty but still beared that nice hint of black pepper.

Grilled Pork Chop with Lemongrass ($8)
Dad's adventurous order turned out to be small cuts of pork rather than those sliced ones shown in the picture. Nevertheless, this merely tasted like charsiew without the sweet marinade.

The orders took quite long and condiments weren't given until a request was made. Poorer service this time, but at least mum got to have her pho noodles.
