Munch

A sudden craving for sandwiches struck me after a long lecture in school on a holiday afternoon. So i headed down to Robinson Road, the sandwich-dominated street in the busy CBD. As i walked along, i found Munch- a seemingly promising cafe with a bright welcoming outlook.

Other that the main sandwiches, salads and pastas are also available. I was pleased with how the staff here intiatively approached to assist me in ordering and attending to my requests, all serving with friendly smiles. Alot of caucasian patrons soon packed up the place during the lunch hour.

my sandwich meal

Turkey & Cranberry Sandwich ($6.50)

The bread actually went through 2 toasting processes- first being compressed in a grill then heated to a brown shade. Fillings consisted of turkey breast slice, cranberry spread, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, as well as a choice of butter of mayo spread. Toasting was just a little overdone and their chunky cranberry sauce came a tad too sweet.

Steamed Milk ($1.70)

A mug of warm milk with a frothy top. Although this brand of milk used was terribly diluted, i still slurped up my favourite drink to the last drop.

The next time a sandwich crave strikes, i would certainly consider coming here for another double-toasted meal.
